#APS2024 was undoubtedly a day full of inspiring meetings and broadening perspectives, all in the beautiful city of Wrocław!
Maria Majewska and Michał Majewski were there with great enthusiasm, ready to delve into the intricacies of the Polish industry, especially the processes of battery production. It’s hard to describe how much valuable information we gained and how many inspiring conversations we had!
➡ Maciej Gis‘ lecture on new mobility as the foundation of industrial policy development in Poland was a solid dose of data and analysis. We strongly support the realization of all operational goals set by PSNM – We drive new mobility!, especially the goal for the battery industry: Increasing domestic production capacity to 500 GWh annually!
➡The panel moderated by Agata Rzędowska allowed us to view the industrial strategy of the electric mobility market from a completely new perspective. Thanks to excellent moderation and outstanding panelists, including Filip Gabryelewicz z Wamtechnik, Maciej Dryjanski z AVL in Poland, Jędrzej Dąbrowski z Ele-DriveCo, Mateusz Wach z Ennovation Technology, Maciej Gis z PSNM – We drive new mobility!, Bartłomiej Steczowicz z NAATU Operator we learned a few key takeaways:
📌 Polish companies involved in the development of the battery sector need continuous support. Financing is certainly an important issue, but equally important is opening up new market opportunities and enabling businesses (by activating universities) access to qualified personnel, especially engineers.
📌 We were also reminded that we are still number one in lithium-ion battery production in Europe. This is an honor that we must not lose, especially considering the growing competition from other European countries.
We would like to thank the conference organizers and express our gratitude to Maciej Ratajczak for the opportunity to participate, as well as all the experts with whom we had the pleasure of exchanging views and experiences.
We believe that through collaboration and commitment, we can achieve even more! We are full of optimism and enthusiasm for further work at DELIX on the development of the battery sector in Poland.
PS: Take a look at the incredible electric car designed and built by students from Wrocław. Kudos to PWR Racing Team for their relentless pursuit of excellence and for pushing the boundaries of technology! Such projects not only inspire but also demonstrate the tremendous talent and passion present in our country. Congratulations to the whole team for achieving something so spectacular! 🎉🏎️
